SEEK TO BE PEACEFUL WITH ALL PEOPLE<\/p>\n
Hebrews 12:14 \u201cPursue peace with all people, all people, and that holiness, which no man shall see the Lord, except he be \u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
It is God’s command that we be at peace with all men. So when we are offended it is not the time for us to take revenge, it is the time to put an end to that hurt, with wisdom and gentleness. And often the thing that ignites in our lives is the TONGUE.<\/p>\n
James 3: 5-6<\/p>\n
5. Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!<\/p>\n
6. And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
See there? The Bible also says that if you can control your tongue until your DAY IS GOOD\u2026 and you will find peace ..<\/p>\n
1 Peter 3:10-11<\/p>\n
10. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:<\/p>\n
11. Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
So whenever we learn to be quiet and gentle wenye then we just have to be at peace with everyone\u2026. but they will have nothing to do with you because they will always see you as a man of peace. They will look for words from you but will not find them\u2026 so at the end of the day they will leave you, and continue to think of their other things.<\/p>\n
But if you are a responsive person, your war will never end..and you will never find peace\u2026 if someone offends you and you respond to the attack by giving him back\u2026 comfortably, and sometimes just keep grumbling\u2026 and not knowing that the biggest problem is on your side.<\/p>\n
Proverbs 15: 1 \u201cAn answer, when mild, turns away rage; But a grievous word stirreth up anger.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Everywhere try to be gentle\u2026 that is the way to have Peace with all people\u2026 And to be gentle is not “weakness” wetu. Our Lord Jesus was gentle (Matthew 11:28) and a gentle person is often not a very talkative person, and not a person who talks about other people’s affairs (gossip).<\/p>\n
Philippians 4: 5 \u201cLet your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is near \u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
If we as Christians are verbally abused we do not have to respond to the word, .. if you are hurt you should not hurt him..every time you find a way to solve the problem instead of exacerbating it\u2026 and the more diligent you are the more God will reconcile you to those who seem to be your permanent enemies. .And so you will be more at peace.<\/p>\n
Proverbs 16: 7 “When a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him”.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
So the Lord tells us to seek diligently (meaning to do our best) to be at peace with everyone, just as we strive to seek holiness that no one can see God without it.<\/p>\n
